Rajko Cave – Starting point – Majdanpek- Ending point Rajko Cave

Rajko Cave belongs to a group of river caves. The Rajko River flows through the cave. After the underground flow, 893 m long, it reappears and at the exit of the cave, it adjoins The Pasco River. Together they form The Little Pek, which flows into The Great Pek, a few kilometers downwards.
Rajkova Pecina (Rajko Cave) and the lake Veliki Zaton (Great Zaton) are located near Majdanpek, about 3 km from the town center. So far, 2.304 m of cave canals have been explored. They are divided into two horizons – the lower river horizon and the upper dry one. Constant temperature is about 8 degrees, whereas humidity is 100%, meaning that one should bring warm clothes when visiting the cave even during summer.
