Name of the attraction: Mali Štrbac
Location: National Park Djerdap, Municipality Majdanpek, Borski District, Eastern Serbia, Repulic of Serbia.
Description: From the main road (Donji Milanovac – Kladovo), through the place called Golo Brdo, passing the forests of National Park Djerdap, you will get to the viewpoint Mali Štrbac. This viewpoint is situated 626 m above the sea level, from where there is a beautiful view on Iron Gates gorge, Mraconia Monastery and the Statue of Decebal Rex carved in s rock on thr Romanian side of the Danube river .
Legend/ Story/ Impression/ Recommendation: This hiking path is of hard level, with an average slope of 20% and it is located in The National Park Djerdap.
Conditions:
Mali Štrbac viewpoint can be reached on foot only walking along the marked path which is 7,1 km long.

To have an official escort from the National Park rangers, it is obligatory to announce every visit to the National Park Authority, with at least three days in advance.

In the National Park Djerdap can be visited other viewpoints and hiking paths which are close to this one. Also in the surrounding area there is Lepenski Vir, hunting and fishing areas, roman heritage monuments like Tabula Traiana or Diana fortification, and interesting enduro paths.
Other useful information:
Since Mali Štrbac is close to Veliki Štrbac and Ploče, it is a good idea to visit all of them in one day. This viewpoint is placed between Donji Milanovac and Kladovo, therefore you can find a hotel for accommodation or private accommodation, in anz of the two cities. Also, there are many good restaurants in these towns and also in Tekija village.
