Name of Touristic Attraction: Stârmina Forest

Location: in Mehedinţi County. It is located in the central-western part of Mehedinţi County, in the Danube Meadow, near Rogova commune. The forest is crossed by DN56A national road connecting Calafat city of Drobeta-Turnu Severin.

Description: Stârmina Forest is a protected area of national interest, located in Mehedinţi County, on the administrative territory of Hinova commune. The natural reservation is part of the Natura 2000 Site. It is an area of 123 hectares that preserves natural habitats and important forest species. The value of this reservation is due to compact surfaces with thorns and a mixture of different hardwoods. The landscape is not unusual, but the area in near the Small Danube is interesting.
