Name of the touristic attraction: Bor ZOO Garden
Location: Bor, Borski district, Eastern Serbia, Republic of Serbia
Description: At the end of November 2011, a ZOO Garden was opened in Bor, one of the most beautiful in Serbia. On an area of about 2 hectares, more than 70 species or over 130 animals live in the Garden.
Current “tenants” like the tiger, the lama, the bear, the antelope, the zebra, the monkeys, the crocodiles and the kangaroos already represent an attraction for the visitors, but it is quite certain that the star of the garden is the White lion.
In addition to the decorated and comfortable space for the animals of the garden to live in, a number of additional facilities have been created, on one hand to provide a better functioning of the garden itself and on the other hand, to provide visitors with a large view of the animals and other supplemental contents that make their experience of visiting this garden even more impressive.
Conditions: The Zoo Garden can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by any road transportation because it is located in the city itself.
– The visitors are not permitted to enter the Garden with motor vehicles, bicycles, etc .;
– Animals are not allowed in the Garden;
– The animals must not be disturbed in any way. To be kept in mind that they also have the right to rest and sleep;
-It is strictly forbidden to feed the animals! Any deviation from this rule can be very harmful, and even devastating for them;
-If they are not disturbed, the animals can be photographed and recorded, but only for private purposes. In any other cases, it is strictly necessary to apply for a permit from the Administration of the ZOO Garden.

Summer working hours: from 10:00 to 20:00
The price of the ticket is 100 dinars.
Children under the age of 12 do not pay entrance but the presence of an adult is mandatory.
Café “Jana” is located in the central part of the Garden, in the pleasant shade of an oak forest.
“Jana” Café operates according to the Garden’s operating hours. There are no non-working days and the working hours of the Cafe are the same as the working hours of the Garden itself.
In the Café, next to a wide range of drinks, there is the opportunity to purchase zoo souvenirs at very affordable prices.

Route close to other thematic routes: Brestovacka Banja is 14 km away, Lazar’s cave 20 km away, Bor Lake 24 km away and Crni vrh mountain 34 km away.
Other useful information: The area of Bor Municipality is connected with a whole spectrum of traffic routes both with the Danube and the Corridor 10 and also with the international crossings towards Romania and Bulgaria.
Through the Djerdap highway, the area is connected with the regional roads: Bor-Donji Milanovac, Bor-Negotin-Kladovo and Bor-Požarevac-Smederevo. The network and quality of local roads in the municipality of Bor is at a satisfactory level.
Bor has an airport, which allows creating conditions for air traffic.
