Acces to Reservation is from the national road DN 57, at 6 km downstream from Svinița Village.

Svinița Botanical Reservation covers an area of about 2,000 square meters, from Iuti River, to the limit of administrative territory of Dubova Commune. There are forests with a variety of species and grass land which attracts you with bright colors of orchids, dianthus, bindweed and figs, inviting you to discover these special places. The richness of the flora discovered by prestigious botanists gave the Danube Gorge a well-deserved recognition of unique European flora. Diversity and floral uniqueness of the slopes in the area attracts the attention of specialists in the field, favoring the development of scientific tourism.
