Name of the Touristic Attraction: The Faţa Virului Natural Reservation

Location: in Mehedinti County. The reservation is located between Slatinicul Mare and Creasta Virului, in the direction of Gura Văii, in Mehedinţi County.

Description: It is a botanical reservation that is part of the Iron Gates National Park and covers an area of 6 hectares. The relief is very diversified in this area, with slopes of 25-45 degrees, and the orientation is southern and south-eastern. Here are very pitoresque keys. The reservation was established with the purpose of preserving and protecting the characteristic flora of this area, represented by the Turkish hazelnut and sour cherry and the fluffy oak.
