The Project „Education for the future” was financed by The Environment Fund Administration.

The project focused on the development of interest and responsibility to preserve, protect and improve the environment, the development and manifestation of attitudes and behaviour’s regarding the use of natural resources, develop the trainees’ behaviour and maintain protection of the natural environment by preserving and expanding green spaces, the environmental education through strengthening the capacity of teachers to organize workshops on environmental protection as themes of civic education and promoting respect for nature.

During the project implementation, the following activities were achieved:

• Workshops with the 120 students and 12 teachers within which drafted informative and educational materials for brochure  “Together for a cleaner environment”, to guide “Water-source of life and ”Green events calendar “;
• Organization of the World Cleanliness Day actions of sanitized and cleaned up the green spaces in the schools, installing panels with educational message regarding the environmental protection and made the film “Cleaning Week”;
• Organization of the World Water Day through awareness and inform residents and representatives of local and regional public institutions by distributing informational materials about water quality and water conservation;
• Organization of the World Environment Day with the opening of an exhibition of paintings “Green Corner” with the student drawings in watercolour, coloured pencil or pencil and distributing “Green events calendar” in order to install a civic attitude of protection the environment and preservation of natural resources.
