Name of the Touristic Attraction: The Spring and the Rocks of Câmana

Location: It is located in the county of Mehedinţi, on the administrative territory of Podeni commune. The area is located on the border with Caraş-Severin County, in the vicinity of Domogled-Cerna Valley National Park.

Description: The spring and rocks from Câmana are a monument of nature. In 2000, they were declared a protected area of national interest and spreads over an area of 25 hectares. The area presents a series of karts phenomena, important geologically, floristically, faunistically and landscaping.

The Spring and the Rocks of Câmana can be hiked for about 8 hours, on a distance of about 12 km. Hiking is organized by Câmena Ecological Tourism Association (www.camena.ro)
