Do sela Butoiesti se mo\u017ee doc\u0301i od Drobete Turnu Severin, putem DN66 ka Filia\u0219i.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Legende \/ Pri\u010de \/ Impresije<\/strong> <strong>\/ Preporuke: <\/strong>Manastir Gura Motrului smatra se da najstarijim manastirom u Olteniji, datira jo\u0161 od 16. veka, prema dokumentima sagra\u0111en je 1519. godine, za vrijeme vladavine Neagoe Basarab, od strane njegovog najbli\u017eeg savetnika Harvata. Izgra\u0111eno je mesto za molivu sa ciljem odbrane. Oko njega su napravljeni odbrambeni zidovi o, koji su omogu\u0107ili skloni\u0161te gr\u010dkim bojarima, koje je Tudor Vladimirescu proterao 1821. godine. Nakon \u0161to je revolucija uni\u0161tena, otomanska armija je oplja\u010dkala manastir Gura Motru. Godine 1864., zajedno sa sekularizacijom monaha, manastir zavr\u0161ava svoju delatnost kao manastir gr\u010dkih monaha i biva kratko je napu\u0161ten. Manastir je ponovo otvoren 1943. godine kao samostan, ali se 1990. godine postao manastir monaha, kako je prvobitno bio.
