Manastirska crkva je stara crkva posvec\u0301ena &#8220;Svetom Jovanu Krstitelju&#8221;, koji je proslavljen 29. avgusta. Sagra\u0111ena je u vizantijskom stilu, u obliku gr\u010dkog krsta, izra\u0111enog od kamena i opeke.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Legende \/ Pri\u010de \/ Impresije \/ Preporuke<\/strong>: Legenda ka\u017ee da je sveti Nikodim iz Tismana, izlazio iz manastira Vodita da tra\u017ei mjesto za izgradnju manastira posvec\u0301en Bogorodici, zaustavio se u dolini reke Topolnice i po\u010deo s izgradnjom. Izgradnja sada\u0161nje crkve datira jo\u0161 od 1646. godine, kada je 12. Februara vojvoda Matei Basarab donirao zgradu kapetanu Lupu Buliga, zbog posebnih zasluga, ali u nesigurnom stanju. Novi osniva\u010d c\u0301e promeniti ime manastira, od &#8220;Svetog Arhan\u0111ela Mihaela&#8221;, koji je postavio Nikodim, u &#8221; Sveti Jovan Krstitelj &#8220;. Nakon 1864. godine, usled sekularizacije mona\u0161kih imanja, manastir je napu\u0161ten i podrumi izgra\u0111eni 1640. godine su uni\u0161teni. 1930. godine, Episkopija R\u00e2mnic i Novog Severina obnavlja mona\u0161ki \u017eivot u manastiru. Izme\u0111u zidova manastira prona\u0161li su uto\u010di\u0161te, Ghi\u021b\u0103 Cutui Olteanul i Simion Mehedin\u021beanu, kapetan vojske Tudor Vladimirescu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
