Rimokatoli\u010dka katedrala je delo arhitekte Hansa Fackelmanna i ima oblik \u0161atora sa krstastim krovom. Katedrala predstavlja kultno mesto za sve vernike Njema\u010dkog, \u010ce\u0161kog, Rumunskog i Ma\u0111arskog porekla u Or\u0219ovi, \u0161to predstavlja most izme\u0111u manjina u ovoj oblasti. To je katedrala koja \u010duva i svoju nekonformisti\u010dku formu tokom perioda izgradnje, izme\u0111u 1972. i 1976. godine, bivaju\u0107i tako jedina katoli\u010dka crkva podignuta tokom komunisti\u010dkog re\u017eima. U unutra\u0161njosti, Raskr\u0161\u0107e je oslikano na zidovima katedrale od strane Gabriela Pope izazvao je ozbiljne sporove, jer je umetnik koristio savremene figure za ilustraciju biblijskih scena. Tako se u blizini Pilata Ponta pojavljuje Lenjin koji podsti\u010de ljude protiv Isusa. John Lennon simboli\u0161e radost vaskrsenja Isusa Hrista. Katedrala poseduje elektronske orgulje, ali tako\u0111e \u010duva stare mehani\u010dki orgulje. One prate versku slu\u017ebu, ali se tako\u0111e koriste i za odre\u0111ene koncerte.
