Op\u0161tina Gruia je udaljena 52 km od Drobeta Turnu Severina, na putu ka Calafatu. Do op\u0161tine se mo\u017ee doc\u0301i iz Drobeta Turnu Severin, DC562A do Gruia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Legende \/ Pri\u010de \/ Impresije<\/strong> <strong>\/ Preporuke<\/strong>: Nalazi se na jugu okruga Mehedinci, na levoj obali reke Dunav, potvrde o mestu datiraju od 1667. godine, kada je Eliza Cantacuzino napustlo \u00a0pola sela Gruia i oti\u0161lo u Draghici Cantacuzino. Ovaj dokument je prva potvrda Dunavskog naselja. U pro\u0161losti Gruia je bila sedi\u0161te 5 odnosno 8 kompanija Dorobanti Mehedinti. Do 1916. godine ljudi ovog mesta su radili u fabrici stakla, kada je zatvorena. Danas u nekada\u0161njoj luci Gruia priroda nudi divlji spektakl, sa pogledima sli\u010dnim onim u Delti Dunava, sa mo\u010dvarama i divljim patkama, vrbama i malim drozdovima, stvorenim da odu\u0161evite turiste koji dolaze u to podru\u010dje.
