Name of the touristic attraction: <\/strong>Plo\u010de<\/p>\n

Location: <\/strong>National Park Djerdap, Municipality Majdanpek, Borski District, Eastern Serbia, Repulic of Serbia.<\/p>\n

Description: <\/strong>From the main road (Donji Milanovac – Kladovo), about 24 km from Donji Milanovac on the right side there is a parking lot, which is also and starting point of the walking path for Ploce. There is a marked path that should be followed bon foot and which will lead to the flat area above the Danube gorge called Mali Kazan. This area has three viewpoints on the 355 m above sea level. Each of these three viewpoints have astonishing view on the river gorge.<\/p>\n

Legend \/ Story \/ Impression<\/strong> \/ Recommendation:\u00a0<\/strong>This hiking path is middle hard with an average slope of 10% and it is located in The National Park Iron Gates<\/p>\n

Conditions:\u00a0<\/strong>Plo\u010de viewpoint can easily be reached walking along the path which is 2,5 km long.<\/p>\n

Information and contact:\u00a0<\/strong>To have an official escort of the National Park rangers, it is obligatory to announce every visit to National Park Authority at least three days earlier.<\/p>\n

In the National Park Djerdap can be visited other viewpoints and hiking paths which are close to this one. Also in surrounding area there is Lepenski Vir, hunting and fishing area, roman heritage monuments like Tabula Traiana or the fortification Diana, and also interesting Enduro paths.<\/p>\n

Other useful information:\u00a0<\/strong>Since this attraction is placed between Donji Milanovac and \u00a0Kladovo you can find a hotel for accommodation and private accommodation in both towns. Also there are many good restaurants in in this towns and in Tekija village.<\/p>\n
