Thematic Route: <\/strong>The Hiking Route<\/p>\n Name of the Touristic Attraction: <\/strong>The Eco-touristic Trail \u201cTarov\u0103\u021b\u201d<\/p>\n Location: <\/strong>in Mehedin\u021bi County. Access to the route is made from the European road E 70, from Or\u015fova exist towards Drobeta Turnu Severin, about 600 m distance. The route starts from the downstream road that enters the mine valley.<\/p>\n Descriere: <\/strong>The route is located in Bahna – Orsova Depression, a hilly area without steep relief. Extremit\u0103\u021bile acestuit traseu sunt Or\u0219ova, l\u00e2ng\u0103 gar\u0103 \u0219i confluen\u021ba Dun\u0103rii cu Bahna. The history of the Bahna-Orsova basin begins in the Upper Helvetians when a narrow bay of the Miocene sea (20 million years) that covered Oltenia at that time, appeared. He started at Baia de Aram\u0103 and closed somewhere south part from Bahna. This route offers the possibility of an organized and environmentally friendly tourism. It is the combination of the recreational activities with instructional and educational activities. This route is often confused with a former soldiers’ patrol route.
