Thematic Route: <\/strong>The Hiking Route<\/p>\n Name of the Touristic Attraction: <\/strong>Eco-touristic Trail “Ciucaru Mare”<\/p>\n Location: <\/strong>in Mehedin\u021bi County. The access on the route is made directly from DN 57, in the center of Dubova, at approx. 100 m from Dubova City-Hall, on the way to Svini\u0163a Commune.<\/p>\n Description: <\/strong>The Large Boiler Plateau is a breathtaking area.\u00a0 It is the place where you sit on 140-million-year-old limestone, on clints, where the \u201c\u0219ibliacuri ter\u021biare\u201d (vegetal associations mainly made of lilac, \u201ccarpini\u021b\u0103\u201d \u2013 carpinus orientalis<\/em>, \u201cmojdrean\u201d – fraxinus ornus<\/em>, \u201cscumpie\u201d – cotinus<\/em>) come from warmer interglacial periods. The attraction of this route is, however, the Danube Boilers\u2019 Tulip (Tulipa hungarica<\/em>), a species that is remarked both by its uniqueness and its habitat, that is, the rocky walls of Ciucarul Mare, modeled by the river. This plant blooms in April.
