Thematic Route: <\/strong>The Hiking Route<\/p>\n Name of the Touristic Attraction: <\/strong>Eco-touristic Trail \u201cLiubotina-Cioaca Cremeneasc\u0103\u201d<\/p>\n Location: <\/strong>in Mehedin\u021bi County. <\/strong>The access to the route is made from the national road DN 57, 8 km from Dubova Commune towards Svini\u0163a. The tourist route starts from Liubotina viaduct, along the forest road on the Liubotina Valley.<\/p>\n Description:<\/strong> The eco-touristic route goes along Liubotina Valley, one of the most picturesque valleys in the Danube.\u00a0 The mountainsides are covered with beech forests, and there are isolated specimens of yew, a protected element of Romania’s flora, which became rare because of its very precious wood, sought for sculpture and fine carpentry. In the past, people used to cut these conifers because they were a threaten to the animals that used to eat them. Also on Liubotina Valley, the trail encounters waterfalls formed in the riverbed of this river.
