Name of the Touristic Attraction<\/strong>: The Danube in G\u00e2rla Mare-Maglavit Area<\/p>\n Location<\/strong>: The natural area is located in the Danube Meadow, in Mehedin\u0163i County, along the G\u00e2rla Mare, Gruia and Vrata communes, near the DN56C national road.<\/p>\n Description<\/strong>: The Danube in G\u00e2rla Mare-Maglavit Area is a surface that covers approximately 2,750 hectares. Its territory is covered by deciduous forests, “transitional” forests to shrubs, swamps, rivers and lakes, pastures, some of which are still covered with vineyards, orchards and arable land. In Gruia-G\u00e2rla Mare Area there are birds such as: Yellow Stork, Red Duck, the hern, White-cheeked Gull, Reeg Egret, Danubian Falcon, Codalb, and a lot of birds that live in areas with a lot of water called Picioroange, Tr\u00e2rc Pitic, St\u00e2rc de Noapte, Cormoran Pitic, Dumbr\u0103veanc\u0103, Lop\u0103tar. Here we also meet the L\u0103stun de ap\u0103 (a bird like the swallow) and other birds like Prigorii, Corcodelul Mare and Grelu\u0219elul de Z\u0103voi.
